About Dr. Manyak
Dr. Manyak graduated from the UCSF School of Dentistry with special recognition from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the American Academy of Operative Dentistry.  Her approach to oral health reflects her commitment to the highest aesthetic and operative standards.  Dr. Manyak lives in San Mateo with her family.

Our Team
Our entire team earnestly strives to make your experiences with our practice truly positive. We enjoy working together and with you, and believe that this goodwill and positive energy creates a special environment for all of us.

Ruth Huckaby, RDH is a hygienist extraordinaire. Her thorough but gentle touch helps keep your teeth clean and fresh. You still have to brush and floss, though.

Continuing Education

Dr. Manyak and her team view education and training very seriously. Every year, Dr. Manyak participates in continuing education far in excess of state requirements. 

We believe in keeping abreast of current preventative, restorative and esthetic techniques as well as materials and research.  And we apply this knowledge as appropriate for each patient. We stress the word “appropriate” because not every new procedure or technique works for every patient. Bottom line: we continuously expand our knowledge and expertise and offer you the same treatment we would give our own families.

Jaclyn Encinas, RDH completes our hygiene team. Jackie is a superb hygienist—and a nice person. If you haven't been brushing and flossing, she’ll gently nudge you in the right direction.

Allyson Strauss, RDA is our business office coordinator. You encounter Allyson’s bubbly and friendly personality on the phone and when she welcomes you to the office.

Monika Carson is our scheduling coordinator. Monika works hard to ensure that your appointments and your schedule work in harmony.

Gloria Solano, RDA is an integral part of our dental assistant team. Gloria has sometimes been called the doctor’s right hand in the operatory. Her wonderful chair-side manner is something that many of you–and the rest of our team–have come to enjoy.

Jillian Scialanga, RDA is a great dental assistant who always greets patients with a warm smile. Many of you comment on Jillian's extraordinary attention to patient comfort. If Gloria is the doctor's right hand, Jillian is the left.
